Storia
Inspired by the game Story Cubes: an app for parents that generates children’s stories with AI: you pick nine concepts —characters, places, objects, values— spread across introduction, climax and ending, and the AI writes a short story for children aged 3 to 8, with one illustration per section. I started it in March 2026; it is on hold for now and I plan to pick it up again.
What it does
Nine concepts, three acts
Three concepts for the introduction, three for the climax and three for the ending, with no repeats. There are over a hundred to start with and you can add your own.
Made to measure
The AI writes a short story for children aged 3 to 8, with content designed for them.
With illustrations
An AI-generated image for each part of the story.
A testbed
A Supabase function talks to the AI provider (Claude, Gemini or Groq), which can be swapped without touching the app. A personal project to try out AI tools and trends.
